Watching winter birds in your garden can be lot of fun. We will do this by mounting a bird feeder on the side of our garden shed, filling it with suet based food and watching at different time during the day to see which birds come down for the food. Some of our neighbours have cats so we must be sure to hang the feeder out of their reach.

Last year, we did this experiment and we saw some Blue Tits, Marsh Tits and Pied Wagtails.

We will try to observe our bird feeder several times each day and report on our observations on this blog.
